Samsung SCH-U650 Available Now on Verizon

Samsung has just released its SCH-U650 Sway mobile handset on Verizon Wireless network. The Samsung SCH-U650 aka Samsung Sway is a slim slider phone which is available in silver design. It’s got a decently huge 2.2-inch screen with 262k color display. The Samsung Sway features a 2 megapixel camera and a music player that supports MP3 music files as well as Verizon’s V CAST Music that features Rhapsody music service. It also boasts of instant messaging support, facility for sending both text and picture messages. The Samsung Sway also got a Bluetooth wireless connectivity featureand includes n A2DP stereo profile which enables users to listen to  music without the normal tangling wires. The Samsung Sway supports microSD memory cards for that much need storage capacity. It can take up to 8GB of memory card for additional storage space. The Samsung Sway is a stylish mobile measuring only a mere 105.4mm x 49.8mm x 12.0mm. It gives out 4.5 hours of talk time or 13 days of standby time. The Samsung Sway will be available on online through Verizon Wireless for $69.99 after a mail-in rebate. It comes with a 2-year service contract agreement through Verizon Wireless’ data plans. The Samsung Sway will start hitting retail outlets on October 12.

Samsung SCH-U430 Arrives in Verizon

Recently, Verizon Wireless has added the Samsung SCH-U430 to its mobile phone line-up. The SCH-U430 is a flip open phone featuring some decent fun and function packed into a slim and stylish design. Multiple messaging options via text, pictures and mobile IM, Bluetooth, VGA camera and media center capabilities are just some of the key features of the Samsung SCH-U430. At first you would think that the SCH-U430 is just another basic phone with the most basic features a mobile phone could have. But actually, the SCH-U430 is packed with some great features as well. First of this is its VGA camera which is simple enough, yet comes with  Night Shot mode for those who like taking pictures during group events at night. If the pictures become too dark, the camera’s brightness settings can be adjusted as well. It also has a built-in timer, color effects and white balance. The camera’s resolution can be adjusted as well, from 640×480, 320×240 and 160×120. It also has a 4x digital zoom and shutter sound selection. In addition, the SCH-U430 also features embedded ringtones, vibrating alerts, and silent mode, voice commands, voice dial, menu readout, digit dial readout, text message readout, call announcement, speakerphone and directional microphone. Motorola has announced the availability of the MOTOACTV W450, a sporty, yet refined mobile phone geared for the sporty and athletic users. The phone is a perfect handset to bring even if you are going for a run, hopping on bikes or preparing up for a climb. The MOTOACTV W450 is a clamshel phone that has a rubberized external coating which makes the phone easy to grip. It has a chin bar at the base that allows users to clip it to their belt or pack. The MOTOACTV W450 will be available in two colors - alpine white and black slate accentuated by either canary yellow or mandarin. Alltel Wireless Releases MOTORAZR VE20

Alltel Wireless has added a new mobile phone to its lineup and this time its from Motorola - the MOTORAZR VE20. This simple flip phone is designed for consumers who want form, function and fun combined in the mobile phone that they are going to use. Featuring a sleek look and improved talk time and standby time, the MOTORAZR VE20 boasts of a large external screen with touch-sensitive controls giving users easy access to recent calls, music and messaging without the need to open the phone. The phone allows users to connect and disconnet the Bluetooth function from its external touch screen without the need to open the phone’s flip part. Weighing a mere 3.17oz, the MOTORAZR VE20 is also the lightest RAZR ever. It gives out 250 minutes of talktime and 360 hours of standby time.Other features of the MOTORAZR VE20 include; a 2MP camera with video, MP3 player with 3.5mm headset jack, GPS, expandable memory slot, preloaded applications that include Alltel’s Search, City, Navigation and Aricent Celltop. It also supports Music Connect which allows users to transfer music from their PCs into the VE20. The MOTORAZR VE20 will be available at Alltel Wireless on September 5 for $99.99 after a mail-in rebate plus a two year service contract.
