Chinese website PCOnline was lucky enough to get a hands-on of the upcoming Windows Mobile 6.1 handset from Samsung. Dubbed as the SGH-i900, this mobile beauty would surely makes us all non-Chine mobile phone users feel envious of our friends from China once they got hold of this new mobile phone. And if the thought of an international release for the SGH-i900 makes you feel excited, what more if you learn about the power of this new mobile handset. For starters, you have a Wi-Fi, 3.5 touchscren display, 16gb of onboard memory with microSD expansion, 5 megapixel autofocus camera. These are certainly enough to make us crave for the Samsung SGH-i900. Other features of the Samsung SGH-i900 include 3.5G HSDPA connectivity, Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro OS, 3.5″ 240×400px, 262K color TFT touchscreen display, 5 megapixel autofocus camera, front camera for video calls, built-in GSM, an FM radio, Bluetooth 2.2 A2DP and TV-Out.

Motorola is treating our friends from Korea, specifically female mobile users with the release of a pink colored Razr2 clamshell baby. The new Motorola RAZR2 pink silver edition sports a subdued pink casing and espresso colored keypad that gives it an elegant style. It’s metallic silver front has been tinted in pink for an added classic look and lightness to the already chic RAZR2. None other than Motorola Korea’s Marketing Director Lim Joung, was so pleased with the release of the pink silver RAZR2 and said that “With its luxurious yet tranquil look and carefully-selected features, the RAZR2 Pink Silver was designed to appeal to the confident young generation.” Indeed, the RAZR2 would answer young Korean girls’ demand for an innovatively powerful and yet stylish Motorola mobile phone handset. The Motorola RAZR2 features an innovative Tandem Display technology with two displays, one embedded on either side of the flip which allows for effortless message sending and lets users enjoy other functions even when the RAZR2 is shut down. Other features of the Motorola RAZR2 include; Bluetooth, camera, VOD, MOD, MP3, high-speed USB 2.0 and phone navigation. The RAZR2 Pink Silver is now available in Korean mobile stores. Pricing details are not available though. Likewise, there is not information also as to whether the RAZR2 would hit US stores sometime soon.

Korea has just launched new dual slider music, dubbed as the F400. This new Samsung mobile baby promises to bring top quality music and sound, enough to give users with sonic bliss within the palm of their hands. The Samsung F400 will come equipped with ICEpower technology courtesy of Bang&Olufsen, gives out smart bass rich, deep and powerful sound, the way music should actually sound when played on a normal audio system. Aside from employing this music technology, the F400 is also embedded with digital natural sound engine 2.0 for an added sonic touch to its sound quality. The F400’s music function is readily available using a music hot key button located on the side of the phone. It boasts of a metallic keypad with hairline pattern on a slide up mode. Things get different when you slide down the F400’s slider. From a simple mobile phone, it will turn into a full-featured music device with dual stereo speakers and silver wheel navigator. In addition, the F400 also features an embedded music recognizing application – Shazam. With this application users can find out the name and artist of the music that phone is currently playing. Other features of the Samsung F400 include; 3-megapixel camera with auto focus, FM radio and Bluetooth v2.0 support, built-in 1GB memory and microSD card slot for expansion up to 8 GB, 3.5 mm earphone jack. The Samsung F400 will hit France this month, while other countries will follow later on. It will be available in black and white with glossy finish.

The Sony Ericsson W980 mobile phone was previewed last February during the CEBIT 2008. It is slated for a 3Q release according to Sony. So while we wait for the official release, we might as well take a look at what this baby is made of. SE is touting the W980 to set a new standard for music in mobile phones with its unique audio enhancing technology, combining it with Sony’s walkman on top design. This mobile phone will let users to listen to music the way they should be heard, that is, with clear stereo, clear bass, and distortion free even at higher volumes. An outstanding feature of the W980 would be its built-in FM transmitter which users can share to any devices with built-in FM radio receiver. Or users can just simply unplug their headsets and let music run through the W980’s integrated speakers. For ease of use, the W980’s walkman features can be easily access even when the phone is on standby mode. This is brought about by the W980’s Walkman on Top features. And to suit the varying preferences of users, the W980 also comes with preset equalizers for music enhancement. And now for the skinny on features. As a Walkman player, the SE W980 has clear stereo, clear bass, album art, FM transmitter, shake control, SensMe, PlayNow, TrackID, Bluetooth stereo, music tones, 3D games, Java applications, FM Radio with RDS, video streaming, and video viewing. The W980 also boasts of a 3.2 megapixel camera with 3.2x digital zoom, picture and video blogging, video recording with 4x digital zoom, full Internet browsing with Access NetFront, support for web and photo feeds. The W980 gives out up to 8 GB of internal memory, 9hours talktime and around 300 hours of standbytime for GSM network and 16 hours of music listening time. It runs on UMTS/HSDPA 2100 GSM/GPRS/850/900/1800/1900 networks.
