iPhone 4's Retina Display Suffering From Yellow Spots?
The much anticipated iPhone 4 is suffering a few rough patches less than 24 hours after its launch. Some customers are reporting that the Retina display on their new phone is showing yellow splotches or banding.
It has been reported on the AppleInsider forums that the yellow splotches are caused by a bonding agent used to glue layers of glass together. The phones are being shipped so quickly that the bonding agent is able to fully evaporate. With time, it is said, the yellow splotches or banding will disappear.
Other complaints indicate that the phone loses recption when the left-side of the phone is cupped in your hand. Some users report that reception is improved when placing the phone in Apple's new Bumper cover.
